THE HAZEMAG SECONDARY K-TYPE DISC ROTOR – The K-type rotor (4 or 6 row design) is normally utilized for the reduction of limestone, dolomite, gravel, glass, and asphalt. This rotor is an excellent choice for utilization within the secondary impactor when a primary impactor is also being utilized. As a result of its heavy duty design, this rotor is capable of reducing material up to minus 12”. The blowbars are clamped into the rotor body and secured through a mechanical wedge locking system. The blowbars are reversible (up to 3 times) for optimum wear life. Their rotation or changeout is simplified through the wedge release system and impactor downtime is reduced to a minimum. This rotor design is available on the secondary impactor models: APS, APSM, APK, APKM, and APKV/2 row design.
