Based on this concept, the new HAZEMAG VR4 rotor has now been developed. It combines the characteristics of the VR2 rotor fitted with wear caps in a symmetrical design with the robustness and the process engineering possibilities of the four blow bars predecessor rotors proven for decades. The focus of development was on optimizing customer benefits. With this new rotor design, it is possible to significantly increase the availability and to optimize the maintainability.
The VR rotors with solid, cast wear caps are equipped with a significantly increased wear mass and make costly and expensive hardfacing in the machine unnecessary. If the area before the blow bar is worn, the wear caps can be easily disassembled by loosening a screw and thus changed quickly. Due to the arrangement and structure of the wear caps, these can be interchanged, so as to ensure optimum utilization of the wear mass. Ergonomic and safe working is guaranteed at all times with this new wear part concept, whereby maintenance and repair times are reduced to a minimum.
Through the use of the wear caps, the blow bar itself could be optimized, which is now fixed by the proven locking mechanism on the outside. The blow bar could be extended by keepeng the same rotor tip diameter which is beneficial for the wear mass. The improved geometry now makes it possible to turn the blow bar twice. Optional ceramic inserts in the blow bars also increase wear resistance and service life.
The HAZEMAG VR rotors are available in sizes 1005, 1007, 1010 and 1014 and can of course be used in all HAZEMAG impact crushers of the respective sizes.
