What makes the HAZEMAG Push Feeder | HPF so special?

The HAZEMAG Push Feeders are robust, durable and low-wear machines made in Germany.
Push Feeders are one of the most robust discharge units for concrete and steel feed hoppers, which can be installed and operated both, horizontally and inclined. Essentially, the HAZEMAG push feeder consists of a frame made of solid steel construction, and a robust push table equipped with replaceable wear plates.


The heart of the HAZEMAG Push Feeder is the durable hydraulic drive with an optimally positioned hydraulic cylinder. This hydraulic drive ensures that the material transport is guaranteed without errors by the forward and backward movement of the push table, with a stroke frequency that is exactly adapted to your needs.


The push table is mounted on solid rollers which, in conjunction with the specially developed rails, guarantee trouble-free, long-lasting production. Below the pusher table, a total of 10 rollers are mounted to evenly support the load of the push table. The armored rollers are adjusted by a specially developed adjustment device so that they are constantly in contact with the running rails.
The rollers are equipped with sealed and permanently lubricated bearings, eliminating the need for regular maintenance. The track rails developed and used by HAZEMAG are made of low-wear materials. This combination of robust rollers and running rails makes HAZEMAG Push Feeder so easy to maintain and economically efficient.


When the push table is advanced by the hydraulic cylinder, the material is carried along from the feed hopper. When the push table is moved back, the feed material breaks off at the discharge point of the push table. The feed material is thus fed via a chute or directly to the downstream machine.


Since the material is supported against the rear wall of the hopper when the feed table is moved back, it can only function properly if there is a certain layer height in the hopper. For this we have the optimal solution with our HAZEMAG push feeder, since one of the most outstanding characteristics of our HAZEMAG push feeder is the above-mentioned, robust construction. The design features enable HAZEMAG push feeder to move a very high layer height, and thus to maximize the throughput capacity.

The conveying capacity of the HAZEMAG push feeder – HPF is mainly determined by three factors:

Width of the HAZEMAG push feeder

The selected width of the push feeder is primarily decisive for the conveying performance. HAZEMAG’s mission has always been to provide the market with products that meet the requirements of our customers – and that in the usual high HAZEMAG quality. The series of HAZEMAG push feeder therefore comprises four standardized sizes.

Stroke of the push table

The second essential factor is the stroke of the push feeder. Here we have made use of our many years of experience. HAZEMAG push feeder have a lifting distance that is designed to meet the needs of our customers and that is also optimally matched to the respective plant conveyor capacity. The biggest advantage of a HAZEMAG push feeder is the stepless adjustment of the stroke distance, through the use of the most modern hydraulics including the corresponding control system. Thus, our customers can react flexibly to changing requirements.

Feed material

The third factor is the feed material. The respective feed size, in combination with the optimal width of the push feeder, as well as the optimally adapted and adjustable stroke, guarantees high throughput rates.
