Site Manager for our cement projects in Spain and Greece (m/f/d)
Project description:
SINOMA TCDRI has entered into an agreement for the Installation of Chlorine Bypass System in Spain and Greece with LAFARGEHOLCIM. The whole project consists in the installation of a Chlorine Bypass system on the existing kiln in Greece and Spain. TCDRI should provide certain engineering, procurement, delivery to site, and commissioning of the mechanical and electrical equipment for the project. The installation of a chlorine bypass shall enable the plant to:
- Actively react on the high chlorine input to the kiln system due to increase usage of alternative
- React with higher flexibility on AF market changes (availability of low chlorine fuels is expected to become sparse) and to increase the AF substitution rate.
- Installation of chlorine bypass system on exiting cement kiln (brown field)
- Duration approx. 9-12 month on site in Spain or Greece (2 projects starting at the same time)
- Projects start foreseen May/June 2021
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- familiar with the supply scope (chlorine bypass, cement kilns)
- responsible for installation supervision, commissioning and training for mechanical equipment and electrical components supplied with the equipment
- coordination for resolving quality problems during site installation
- participate in the investigation and handling of quality problems in installation works and supervise and verify the implementation of corrective measures
- familiar with the contract documents, technical specifications and design drawings, and fully control the quality and schedule during the construction process
- research, report and solve the problems encountered during the installation and commissioning of this project
- solve technical problems in accordance with relevant technical specifications and rules
- make inspection according to quality control plan
- organize and attend regular meeting at site with LH, TCDRI team and local subcontractor
- comply with customer LH safety regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or technician
- five or more years of experience supervising bigger projects
- experience in project management role
- experience with cement business
- working with operational efficiency improvements, quality management, interdisciplinary collaboration and budgetary responsibilities
- demonstrated ability to think clearly and act decisively in urgent situations
- demonstrated ability to solve problems
- two languages (English is needed) plus local language (Spanish or Greek)
