Our Hammer Mills
HAZEMAG UNIROTOR (single-rotor) and NOVOROTOR (double-rotor) hammer mills are used for fine grinding and combined drying and grinding of cement raw materials, burnt lime, dry mortar, and other construction materials. Their application in the cement and burnt lime industry enables the capacity of downstream tube mills to be considerably increased. They are characterized in particular by the versatility of their design, which permits optimum adaptation to the specific application. Plants are designed to include screens or classifiers, etc. according to process demands.
Wear parts, such as grinding paths, grates and hammers are well accessible and easy to change/replace. In the UNIROTOR hammer mill, the direction of rotation of the rotor is reversible, ensuring optimum utilisation of the hammers without the requirement to turn them when one face is worn. HAZEMAG hammer mills are eminently suited to the combined drying & grinding of various materials. In this process, hot gases are passed through the hammer mill simultaneously with the comminution of the material. Thanks to the large surface area created by the crushing process, a very high evaporation rate is achieved, the combination of the two processes at the same time minimising the space required for the equipment. In order to optimise the plant design – particularly in the case of new processes – we recommend prior testing of customers ‘material in our modern, comprehensively equipped test facilities
