allmineral dresses Siberian coal for the global market
From 2018 two high-output alljig® jigging machines for dressing high-quality coal into globally marketable products will be up and running at the Siberian Uvalnaya coal mine. Coke in particular is currently enjoying growing demand in pig iron production in integrated iron works.
Construction work on the modern mine at the heart of the Kuznetsk Basin coal deposit is already well underway. With the help of German mining expertise high-quality coking coal is to be extracted and dressed from four coal seams up to 3.5 m thick. Coking coal is currently enjoying growing demand from iron works and large-scale industry in the global market.
Two alljig® jigging machines designed in Duisburg are playing a key role in the efficient processing of the raw material. The two double-shear, underbed-pulsed machines separate the raw coal into three products: coal, middlings and tails. The alljig®-GUB 3000 x 5800 coarse coal jig reliably separates, concentrates, and cleans up to 280 tonnes of raw coal (13 to 150 mm) per hour.
The alljig®-FUB 5000 x 5000 fine coal jig even manages up to 485 tonnes of raw smalls (1 to 13 mm) per hour. The air-pulsed alljig® jigging machines are physically stable in operation, allowing an optimum jigging stroke for a minimum of energy consumption. Sensors are used on alljig® systems to automatically monitor and control the discharge, with their signals captured and processed electronically. The volume of heavy product fed into the jigging machine can then be discharged with precision.
Coal mines are just one area of application for the alljig® jigging machines, which are easy to operate and maintain. These energy-saving systems are also the preferred choice for sorting primary and secondary raw and waste materials of different particle density, reliably and efficiently. More than 500 alljig® jigging machines in operation worldwide in almost thirty years are the best possible reference.
