Dr. Heribert Breuer takes his leave
He was one of the company’s founding fathers and now, after more than twenty-eight years, he is taking his leave. Dr Heribert Breuer is stepping down as managing director of allmineral Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG and handing over the management of the company to Marco Steinberg.
The success story of the Duisburg-based plant manufacturer began with its founding in 1988, paving the way for innovative and particularly efficient processing plants and technologies. The individual plants themselves have always been designed and developed in close co-operation with clients and customised specifically to their requirements. From the outset Heribert Breuer always lived by this maxim and, together with his team, made it the key to the company’s success.
allmineral quickly secured its international market position, expanding into new markets and setting new standards with its efficient and ultra-productive plants and machinery. Under Heribert Breuer’s stewardship international partnerships were forged, new products developed, and subsidiaries established. He was also instrumental in integrating the company into the Dülmen-based HAZEMAG Group, with the Duisburg engineering firm ideally complementing the Group’s portfolio as a result.
‘My aim was always to develop the best possible installations with the help of the allmineral team and to ensure that our competence and experience benefited our customers,’ says Dr Heribert Breuer. And, indeed, he believes it was that experience first and foremost that accounted for a large part of the company’s success. Fortunately, allmineral does not have to dispense with that experience entirely, since Heribert Breuer is not retiring completely. He is to remain with the company in his capacity as consultant: ‘I look forward to assisting Marco Steinberg and the team as a whole with their work.’
The new managing director arrives from MBE Coal & Minerals Technology GmbH, formerly KHD Humboldt Wedag Coal & Minerals, where he last held the position of Vice President Global Sales & Marketing. For more than ten years Marco Steinberg has held key managerial positions at renowned companies all over the world and is well known to the market through numerous publications. ‘We’re delighted to have found a worthy successor to Heribert Breuer in Marco Steinberg, a young, dedicated and already highly experienced expert in the field,’ says Marcus Heinrich, managing director of the HAZEMAG Group.
Marco Steinberg is to focus first and foremost on expanding the product portfolio and consolidating the firm’s technology leadership. ‘I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead in Duisburg,’ says Marco Steinberg of his new duties, adding: ‘I’m particularly pleased to inherit such perfect operating conditions from Heribert Breuer.’
